I have lived creatively for most of my life, with painting as a constant thread weaving through my experiences. Recently, I took the leap to become a full-time artist, dedicating myself to building a sustainable career and life through my art and creative endeavours. Becoming a professional artist has long been a dream, and since becoming a parent, it has evolved into a purposeful goal.

I specialize in acrylic painting and digital design, often chasing the rhythm of waves and the pulse of energy through my work.

Somewhere between realism and abstraction, I explore the quiet and chaotic ways energy makes itself visible.

I've always struggled with reference images- creating my own / using stock images or merging multiple references in my mind to create something cohesive. I recently started experimenting with AI to create reference images. After many, many iterations, I used one of the results as a reference image for this bear. I feel inspired and exhausted by it at the same time. There were so many iterations that I liked, I ended up painting 3 of them at the same time. It felt efficient as I already had the palette poured and ready. AI is a useful tool and will be used more and more as our future unfolds. I want to remain transparent about the use of it so nothing needs to be speculated. What are your thoughts on AI reference images? How different are they from AI generated captions or AI improved articles (words)?
