Energy is Everything.

I grew up and currently live in New Brunswick, Canada.
The coast has always felt like home, and I’m grateful to be here.

I studied Kinesiology at university in Newfoundland, another place that holds a special place in my heart. The foggy charm, the incredible people. what I learned shaped me and my journey in ways I wouldn’t change for anything. What I learned about people, movement, energy, and the human body continues to influence my daily life.

After graduating, I spent a summer tree planting, where I met my now-husband. We travelled across Canada before settling in British Columbia. The mountains were breathtaking, as was the coast. During that time, I explored my creativity while working various jobs in the health sector, sewing reworked garments in a small shop, making and selling things at markets, and other odd jobs. Each experience expanded my perspective, but none felt like a true calling.

When we moved to Edmonton, I saw it as a blank slate—a chance to experiment. I worked as a personal trainer, attended an entrepreneurial mastermind, and painted every moment I could. That was the period of time when I became captivated by the concept of energy. Physical energy, yes, but also mental energy, spiritual energy and creative energy.
My curiosity led me to an unexpected path: an apprenticeship as an electrician. It remains one of my favorite jobs to this day, as it taught me about the generation and transmission of energy - making it tangible.

For a time, I installed solar panels and studied smart grid technology, still drawn to the theme of energy in all its forms. Eventually, I moved back to my hometown—another fresh start. I took a job at a well-known beer brand, thinking it was the perfect opportunity for a long-term career. It wasn’t the right fit. The pandemic forced a pause, and in that stillness, I found clarity. I stepped away and returned to what had been calling me all along: painting and creative exploration.

Since then, I’ve been painting, writing, experimenting, and embracing new artistic challenges. My work is rooted in the unseen forces that shape our world—the energy, emotion, and transformation that influence our reality.

During this time, I also became a mom of 2. Now, as a parent, my purpose has only deepened. I want my children to discover who they are, why they’re here, and how to follow their own paths. And the best way to teach that is by living it myself.

So, I paint. I create. I explore. Because art, like energy, is always in motion.
